The first of many ( I HOPE)

So I am totally new to this blog thing put I thought it would be a neat way for family to keep up with us day to day!
Where to begin...In November I lost my job due to the result of the election, can I say BLESSING in disguise. This was a job I loved and loved the people I worked with, but it wasn't at all in God's plan for me to stay there. If you would have told me a year ago I would be a "stay at home" mom and LOVIN it I would have told you that you were a looney tune! But this has been the best experience the Lord has ever laid in my path. Not only do I get to do pretty much whatever I want during the day but I get to watch day by day my little man grow. I also think this experience has brought me closer to the Lord, I have learned not only is life short but its not always beautiful. There has been so many things that have happened in the past 4 months that I could not have helped out with had I been working. My grandmaw recently had surgery and we have all been pitching in to help out. Garrett and I have spent much needed time with grandmaw "FUZZ" ...much needed in the sense that she is getting older and wont be around forever and this gives us time to be with her and pawpaw Ray. My niece also has to have surgery next Monday and I have been taking on the role as "AWESOME BABYSITTER" for her older sister Ali...that's what family is for right!?
I have grown closer to the Lord during all this and have realized that my heart wasn't exactly where is needed to be and I think he has said Crystal straighten it up and here is your chance. I hope one day I will understand all the plans he has in store for me but as of now I have grasped the whole idea of being at home with my precious boy and helping family!
